Yesterday I went to 13th international kite festival held in Pasir Gudang JB. It was held annually at the same place. Contestants came from germany, singapore....bt duno which one is their representative kites as there are so many kites up there be it big, small, round,square.... Even our own Malaysians also brought along their kites and set it up around the area. Kite fever huh? Some of the Malays even set up tents( i think they are a bit exaggerating haha) and had picnic there. Thats our typical Malays!
Ok nevermind, back to the kites.
Since some of the kites are so gigantic so they had to use bulldozers to pull the kites, can imagine how big is the force of the kites? There also got a kind of kite called "couple kites" where they kept following one another like chasing for it. The kites are mostly unique in their own designs. One of them even looks like an elephant trunk. As far as i know, some marks are allocated for the designs of the kite, well about the details of the competition I am nt really sure about it as I never get to see it myself. As for those small kites around, it were mostly set up by Malaysian,so at certain area the whole sky was fulled of little tiny kitess. Parents will first set up the kites into the sky then only passed to the children.Haha that happened in our family too!
Whole sky are full of kites! Kites! Kites ! Kites! Even the lamp post also looked like kite!
